“White Collar Photography” paper

for Media History from the Margins

In August 2018 I attended a Summer seminar in Monte Verità which aims was “to rethink media history from the margins” and to place neglected, alternative, or censured media technologies at the center of our attention. For that occasion, I contributed to the graduate symposium with a paper on some issues raised by my research on the marginal uses of photography in libraries and archives as a tool for knowledge production and organization during the interwar period.
